WEDDING

This weekend saw the ending of a great cartoon era. TMNT 2K3 finally drew to a close with the wedding of Casey and April.

Splinter returns after an 11 or so episode absence and just in time. Hooray!

Of course, with any TMNT-verse there is always something going down that would result in some heavy-duty kung-fu action. And with any wedding between crime-fighters featuring Raphael as the best man (err Turtle) and a plethora of heroic family and friends on the guest list, there is bound to be gatecrashers – and lots of them!

Cyber Shredder, Master Khan and a whole crud-load of Foot Ninja are on the scene - ready to try and spoil the proceedings. What went down is an obvious assumption: A final showdown to say the least.

This season 7 and series finale featured the welcome return appearances of many characters, including a few surprises.

It’s been a good and enjoyable run for this recent superior-than-old TMNT series which strayed away from cowabunga and pizza silliness and leaned on a more hard hitting approach.

Thankyou to: Fox, 4Kids and whomever else for providing this great show. Thankyou all for the seasons of great episodes, character designs, and sometimes ballsy approach to a ‘kids toon’. Thankyou for making a decent enough and non-embarrasing TMNT toon that I can brag about and be proud of viewing.

2003-2009 The best TMNT TV series thus far.
