OMEDETOU

The above title is Japanese for 'Birthday'.

I have one coming up this weekend. I've already had an early present from my parents in the form of an art set. I got some pretty awesome pens, and for the first time in months I will dust off the old art pad from its last usage in 2009 and get scribbling.

Special mention to; Sam Purnell whose birthday was yesterday, wrestling pal Petherwick whose is today, my cats Zip & Star whose joint birthday is tomorrow and my bud Bassey whose birthday is the day after mine (11th).  Phew! July birthdays rock!

ENCORE

Hey guys. Hope you enjoyed the cross posted ‘Blog’ ‘Block’ Party yesterday.

I thought I’d carry on the festivities a little longer..

As well as the headbangin’ stuff I am offering a chillout lounge too, so post some soothing stuff too if ya want :D Here’s my first offering - The Islander by Nightwish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRc9rNDZOCE

=======================================

Yesterday went well, I received lots of cards, LOADS of online greetings (thanks to all as it will take me a very long time to thank you individually), cool pressies, and I went out on the town with my posse.

My innards are still recovering from yesterday’s drinkage…

I’ll leave you with a LIVE rendition of Eels by The Mighty Boosh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqnFJSh27uU which I think may be the longest mix of the song yet :D

Enjoy some elements of the past and elements of the future. :D

CUTE

Today on the eve of my own birthday marks the 1st birthday of Zip and Star.

Zip and Star my wonderful kitten brother and sister duo are just a pleasure to have and a joy to be around.

Here’s to Zip and Star.

AGE

A week from now I will turn 31.

Should I feel ‘old’?

Heck no.

I will make the most of being 30 for one more week however.
