As I was making my merry way down Keynsham High St today, I saw that the notorious bed shop around the Riverside buildings had finally been given a purge.

For many years the bed shop had been just there and not open for business, whilst many beds on display just stayed there, collected dust and brandished sun-faded price signs.



There's been many stories about the mystery of this place as to why the store stayed closed but never went out of business. Some say it was a cover up for something else or possibly an exterior for a mafia hideout :)

As you can see in the photo, there is a lot of business space there and there's some potential for something new to open up. Hopefully not another charity shop or salon.
